The scenic golf course nearby was a hit with my family, especially the teenagers! We also enjoyed our time exploring Sonning on Thames, making the most of the stunning views. The staff was attentive and welcoming throughout our stay.

In my wife’s opinion, the breakfast ordering process was frustrating. It would be great if breakfast could be served without requiring prior notice.

Had a great time with friends! We checked out the Henley Rowing Museum, loved the Wind in the Willows gallery, and played a scenic round at Sonning's golf course. Charming stay with a view

Had a lovely 2-night stay here! The Superior Double Room was super comfy, and the view of the Thames from our table during breakfast was just gorgeous. The food was top-notch, especially the chateaubriand we shared! Just wish there was a bit more parking – it can get tight for space when busy.

The setting by the river was simply gorgeous! 🌅 The room, however, felt a bit dated – I missed having tea and coffee facilities in there. But the views made it worth it!

Rooms show signs of wear with outdated furnishings, no lift makes it inconvenient with mobility issues!!! Wi-Fi connection weak, especially in cottage accommodations making it difficult to stay connected!!!

Had a fantastic meal with superb duck cooked right next to us, and a lovely view over the garden. The strawberry and chocolate plate for dessert was a sweet surprise. I'd definitely come back!

The air conditioning unit did not function properly, which was frustrating during an exceptionally hot spell. however, I didn't follow up on this, so it may have been fixable. The French doors had a bit of stiffness, making them awkward to close once opened. Some furniture, like the bedside drawer handle and wobbly dressing table stool, seemed in need of maintenance. the lack of brighter lighting made the space feel quite dim, leaving me wishing for options in terms of pillow softness instead of just hardness.
